It’s been a while ago since Intel release their value chipset motherboard H370, B360, and H310 in the last April. At first, I feel it just made more confused to choose which one is the best for next CPU rig, because there too many lines up chipset for Coffee Lake, as team blue did before, even the price tag isn’t too much different until now (end of 2018).

Besides some lower Z370 motherboards are already cheaper than H370 chipset. But to make it simple, H370 chipset is somewhat under the flagship Z370 chipset, B360 chipset is much more affordable in mid-range chipset and the H310 for the low-end coffee lake motherboard.

Which Value Intel Coffee Lake Chipset Motherboard Suited For You? Are These New Chipset Worth To Buy?

Yes, it still worth it because of some new features added but sadly the latest chipset motherboard doesn’t support processor overclocking, with bounded memory tweaking and reducing the utility of SLI/Crossfire configurations.

If you are an enthusiast user who likes to push the processor to the limit or Multi-GPU user who want excellent performance for gaming, then these chipset motherboards not for you, check Z370 motherboard or maybe wait for the new high-end Z390 chipset.

It should be work fine and no difference with Z370 performance, the common problem coming from more value motherboard is the level of heat because of the inferior quality of power delivery.

But the problem exists when you are forcing powerhouse CPU on the value motherboard, so I suggest that B360 paired with the i5 processors and everything should operate without any problem.

If you want to build the high lines CPU with this value motherboard, just make sure to buy a decent third-party CPU cooling to keep it safe for long-term use.

Even though B360 is low-end chipset but the build quality is excellent, has a premium feel and also plenty of RGB customization.  This motherboard offers 7 phase power design is sufficient for any Intel processor including the 9th Gen.

There are only two internal graphics output, DisplayPort max resolution of 4096×2304 @60Hz and DVI-D port max resolution of 1920×1200 @ 60Hz. Dual Realtek ALC892 Codec with high-quality component and Nahimic software provide excellent sound for gaming and movie but not for an audiophile.

Gigabyte Gaming WiFi if you prefer out of the box WiFi included and Gigabyte B360 HD3 and ASRock B360 Pro4 for a cheap but still solid motherboard for gaming.
